Connect ChatGPT to your Apple Health data

HealthBridge holds your Apple Health data in your own account. ChatGPT reads it only once you attach it here, and only what you have chosen to store.

You need the iPhone app first. It is what creates the account and what puts your Apple Health data in it, so there is nothing for ChatGPT to read until it has run once.

1. Add the connector

In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Security and login → Developer mode, then chatgpt.com/plugins → +, then add a custom connector with this address:

https://health.mtnlabs.ai/mcp

Developer mode is available to Pro, Plus, Business, Enterprise and Education accounts on the web, and the + button only creates apps once it is switched on. OpenAI owns that menu and moves it from time to time — their own instructions are the current source if this no longer matches what you see.

2. Sign in with the identity you already use

Pick the same sign-in you used in the iPhone app — Apple, Google or GitHub. Same identity, same account, nothing else to do.

Picked a different one? Nothing breaks and nothing is lost. You will be asked for a short code instead: open the app, tap Connect Claude or ChatGPT in Settings, then Show me a code, and type in the code it shows. That binds this second sign-in to the account you already have, the moment it first appears. The providers share no identifier, and Apple's Hide My Email matches nothing, so we cannot do it for you: a guess here would hand someone the wrong account.

3. Ask it something

“How has my sleep been this month?” is a good first question: it tells you immediately whether the sync worked.

What ChatGPT can see

Only the account you attach it to: the Health categories you allowed in the app, plus anything you log there yourself. The first sync brings your history over and everything after that is incremental. You can revoke this connector, or delete every row of the data, from inside the app at any time.
